--ABOUT PROFESSOR KELLER--
Ann received her BA from Indiana University with degrees in Mathematics and Political Science. She then earned both her Master’s and PhD in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
Her research interests include:
Managing expertise and knowledge validation in public health organizations (CDC, FDA, EPA)
Scientists' role in environmental policy
Patient interest group advocacy
Organization and expertise in pandemic response
She teaches graduate-level courses in the health policy division such as "International Health Policy” and "Politics, Policy and Democracy in Environmental Health.” She also serves on the faculty advisory committee for the Institute for Governmental Studies, UC Berkeley and the UC Berkeley Washington Program. She is a member of the American Political Science Association.
