--ABOUT DR. REINGOLD--
Reingold received his Bachelor of the Arts and MD from the University of Chicago. Dr. Reingold's current research interests include prevention of transmission of HIV in developing countries, the intersection of the HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis epidemics, malaria in Uganda, emerging and re-emerging infections in the US and globally, sexual transmission of hepatitis C virus, vaccine-preventable diseases, and respiratory infections in childhood. He currently teaches “Global Health: A Multidisciplinary Examination” at Cal.

--ABOUT THE PUBLIC HEALTH LUNCHEON SERIES--
The purpose of the public health luncheon series is to create a closer community within the School of Public Health as well as to provide undergraduate students with a friendly, casual setting to talk with public health professors about their experiences, research, and interests. We also aim to encourage a deeper understanding of the academic and research work done by SPH faculty, and the growth of student-faculty mentor relationships to build a stronger community within the public health discipline.

The Global Gag Rule will endanger the lives & health of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable women.

Join the conversation with Dr. Julia Walsh who will be discussing the implications of Trump's expansion of the Global Gag Rule. The Global Gag Rule prevents NGOs receiving US Family Planning Funds from counseling women outside the U.S. on abortion, offering referrals or from providing abortions. Millions of women will lose safe access to abortions and without proper counseling the Global Gag Rule will lead to countless unsafe abortions across the globe.

The Forum will be held this Friday (2/24) in 130 Dwinelle from 6-7pm. **light refreshments will be provided!!

Come to Sproul on Thursday and Friday to buy a cookie (and get free tea/ hot chocolate) to help us support reproductive rights. All proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood!
